A portrait depicts the image of a particular person, animal, or group of people. An effective portrait not only captures the subjects likeness but reveals the mood or personality. What the portrait reveals may not be completely obvious at first glance, sometimes it can be cleverly implied through a certain expression or pose, an included object, a style, medium or the use of color.

A strong portrait captivates viewers, draws them into the artwork, and engages their senses.

 

I specialize in portraits in all styles, sizes using mixed medium depending on the customers needs and personality. I work in pen and ink, pencil, paint, 3d objects, cork, metal, acrylic and other materials like legos.
